You can still land a monster deal, you just save yourself massive dilution... Why not write up a contract with say J&J, stating we accept a $250m upfront payment, with further milestone payments, as certain hurdles are met (DMOAD ++) that allows you (J&J) 1st right of refusal to match any other bid we receive to market our drug in the US.
I just can't get my head around hearing about all of this interest that PR says is there, yet no-one is stumping up a tiny amount of dollars ($250m or whatever the # is) to secure their seat at the table.... And if they have made an offer as such and we haven't formally heard about it, then that is equally puzzling.
