Don't forget (not saying that you are Jerund) that a few people also said no to the role.. At present, we are all just speculating, but one thing for certain is that he didn't take the role for the salary, as the funds supporting the salaries of employees at present, is not too far from running dry if the current run rate of spend continues (which I think it will....)
