Hi Mozz,

Regarding what you have written, placebo is constant - it doesn't change from trial to trial. It can't. It has no therapeutic effect.
So how is it that the placebo effect in our trial was more than double that of the tanezumab trial? Do you have a theory on that?

At week 8, the proportion of patients with at least a 50% improvement in average pain was 12.3% in the placebo arm and 25.4% in the tanezumab arm (P=.0405).¹

How do we compare?

55% of participants receiving iPPS twice weekly reported >50% improvement in pain
compared to 28% in the placebo arm.²
