Putting aside the current IND/FDA wait, and assuming PAR gets over the line, I think a strategic alliance (with Big Pharma), will happen sooner than people think.
Big Pharma has never been more cashed up (COVID revenues), and there has never been so much criticism of Big Pharma for what they do with their profits. Rather than share buy backs, executive rewards etc., I think you may see some pretty serious investment in 'new' treatments. PAR and Zilosul is a unique target for them, its ticks a lot of boxes, not only disease treatment, but also social (opioid epidemic), and financial (future revenues).
Furthermore, and although its impossible to know what's in PR's head (!), he has mentioned in shareholder updates that strategic conversations would take place...
