People should relish the chance to read thoughts or views counter to either consensus or their views. You should always be challenging whether the information you believe to be correct is correct, or whether there is additional pertinent information out there that you aren’t aware of next.

There is plenty of jokers out there on HC who posts crap and are just here to rile up holders, but nobody should be panned for asking fair and reasonable questions irrespective of whether the tone is positive or negative towards a stock. Fund managers and analysts are doing this daily - challenging their teams and brokers trying to find more to every story and information under a rock. If a stock is moving solidly one way or another and you don’t know why, chances are others do. So my advice is to welcome all information and questions/points, and use it to regularly stress test your holdings.

PS. The vast majority of downticking and upticking of single or small share lots is almost always quant funds and HFTs, not shorters or others manually doing (most retail brokers charge a min fee per trade so would blow up economics). The quants and HFTs know how to predict and also generate price moves and momentums. So when you see this, don’t get frustrated at evil traders behind a keyboard, it’s a computer acting autonomously.
