All well and good but remember that NC6 has only so far produced pilot spins of large quantities of 20% and 30% microbial cellulose fibre, with 80% and 70% of the fibre still from FSC-certified wood pulp respectively (Nullarbor-20 and Nullarbor-30). We seem to be a long way from offering 100% tree-free fibre at commercial quantities, and our Nullarbor-30 is still 10% off that Eastman group mentioned to be working with Patagonia.

It's not affecting my sentiment to invest, given any progress and improvement in this space is a huge step in the right direction (environmental benefits), but I'd personally love to see some improvements in the blend yields. Hopefully that's just around the corner once funding from these pending deals is achieved.
