This seems like great news to me.
The Alpine Group ( via Paradise Textiles entity ) have been working with Nanollose for over 2 years, developing fabric & yarn, working with their customers, understanding the product and the market potential. Clearly they like what they see, and the venture is moving forward to full a full commercial agreement - with the nuts & bolts to be worked out over the next few weeks.

The Alpine Group have an impressive customer list - nullabor will be part of the offer to these labels:

The Alpine Group joined Fashion for Good last year, again via the Paradise Textiles entity.
Birla Cellulose is already a key member of Fashion for Good.
Fashion for Good selected Nanollose as one of 10 "innovator" companies for 2024 - one could conclude Paradise Textiles & Birla were influential in this selection.

The innovator companies are very carefully selected by Fashion for Good, as they receive a tremendous level of support, both by the F4G ecosystem, and potentially direct investment from F4G.

F4G have made 29 direct investments in the textile industry since 2020, supporting companies such as Nanollose throughout the industry supply chain.
One such investment was in QLD based BlockTexx in Fen 2024, where they raised $7M. BlockTexx were a nominated "innovator" for F4G in 2020. F4G are a powerhouse in investing in innovative technologies. Some "innovators" have received funding quite quickly from inclusion in the list.

In 2024 F4G changed strategy, and re-aligned the organisation to growth, driving strategy & scaling of innovation.
They hires several new positions, including Innovation Platform Director - Scaling.
KPI - enabling the widespread adoption and scale of regenerative fashion innovations.
If you look back at when this job was advertised, one of the people pushing the job to his network was none other than Lewis Shuler, head of innovation for Paradise Textiles :

Have a look at the job description for Innovation Manager - Scaling.

So, I see this JV with Paradise Textiles as a key part of enabling this ecosystem.
Once the JV is completed, I would expect we will here more about F4G, and how, with Birla, they will assist in SCALING Nanollose.

    Exciting times !
