Agreed, and butcher has elsewhere provided a link to the CS article on how the penny has finally dropped with the big electricity retailers that renewables will lead to lower wholesale rates received from their coal and gas generators. Especially during peak usage times (where they earn 40% of their annual revenue over a very short period). Renewables are spoiling the party.
Expect more retailers to be pulling out of renewable projects. It seems to be developing into a "WAR" - a war against renewables. Such 'wars' raely work, of course, but they are not pleasant.
