It is interesting that, although PTR said in Dec that they would wait four weeks to measure the downhole temperature, in fact they scheduled it for eight weeks after. Yes, it has rained a bit but not a whole month. Allowing more time for equilibration is hardly a reason either. It would be easy to take two or three measurements spaced by a week or two and then extrapolate the semilog graph to 'long time' to get an accurate value. What other specific analysis have they been doing? Perhaps they have all been in Spain for the Tenerife MT survey results or JV discussions. The latter could also replenish the coffers somewhat.

Why does the Q report refer only to the successful drilling, casing and cementing of the well to 3725m (which is strictly correct) but does not bother to mention that the total depth is actually 4012m? In today's ASX Update it also refers to the bottom hole being at 3700m. Odd.
