I wonder if this excessive stacking has an effect on the indice bots - puts them off trying to buy/sell when they don't think that they can move the share price because of the depth - so they go and dump elsewhere..And then when they turn the other way they just unstack them and the index movements do the rest...no major buying or selling involved just the ASX manipulating sp
