A word of caution about speed reading the announcement. Being in the finance/corporate/investment business for over 40 years I always looks for what the true meaning of the announcement is by reading between the lines. Having now read it 3 times my view is as follows:

1. This was a very difficult announcement to make, and I suggest that it was reviewed many times before being released. In reality it was quite a short announcement. Horrible day to release it, Monday never good in Australia.
2. Some of the information they were dealing with was an unpleasant surprise, and the deal was dependent on further discoveries and a higher price
3. Directors did not just mothball the project and spend no money until the above occurred
4. While Andrew's credibility has been dented somewhat, I think they are in receipt of some information, that while not being price sensitive, gives them confidence to pursue the DFS.
5. The directors who are no fools seem extremely confident that in June it will have a bankable proposition.

Now that the bad news is out, some positive news would be great. If you don't need the money you have invested for 12 months, then this is good buying here, and I have put my money where my mouth is. I am a raging silver bull and stacked silver in 2020.
