Ricky PV drilling is much shallower than NSA so costs on that front will be alot less(per barrel recovered). The steam machinery itself is not sophisticated as such so is not as expensive as one might expect. The cost is more in running the operation once in production. In particular they use a fair amount of gas. Many Players utilise their own gas finds where that happens.
PV is a very significant asset for Salinas/Neon and will provide a long term cash flow.
Don't get too hung on extraction costs...its more expensive than land based conventional oil but cheaper than offshore conventional oil.
