Esperence isnt going to be complete until at least 2015 IMO so its hard for the market to get too excited. The State government has just been way too slow in getting this off the ground. They made the stupid decision to give Cashmere the rights to the port, I suspect this was some sort under the table/insider agreement. Now Cashmere cant fund their own activities let alone a port so the process starts again and 3 years have gone by.
with all the government money that was committed to Oakajee they could have just built Esperence
short term port options to be assessed this quarter, maybe we get lucky and get to export out of Albany in the short term (GRR upgrading the port there i think)
