Australian oil company, Bass Oil Ltd (Bass) (ASX:BAS) is pleased to announce a negotiated settlement of a royalty dispute between Bass and one of the parties to the dispute (“Settlement Party” and the associated termination of the royalty as between Bass and that Settlement Party.
Bass will receive a cash payment of an amount based on the estimated royalty value from the Settlement Party in a confidential settlement of past, present and future claims under the royalty agreement.
