Does Mt K own the warrants too?
When did they get the bonds, 2011?
If the first answer is yes, it is almost certain that 312m warrants has been converted and already gone - the market not only absorbed them in less than two weeks but the SP appreciated 30% during this period. Very strong market.
If the second answer is yes, it is understandable that they would be extremely happy just to the money with some interests, finally!
Anyway, it is clear that Mt K is keen to cash in. Good or bad? Depend on one's time-frame, imo. In short-term, it may put a brake on the SP, but on LT, it is fantastic to clear that cloud and uncertainty, the sooner the better. Image a debt free Lynas in 12 month.
