if the agreement is signed and sealed in a couple of months there will be some sellers kicking themselves...
there is nothing at all to suggest that it wont happen.... simply just a delay on due diligence.... which party would ever sign an agreement on a JC without having undertaken it...
Also, it sounds like maybe the drill program was not planned, but, being undertaken as possibly part of the negotiations.... hopefully strengthening GPX's arguement...
