IMO these guys are about to come unstuck with ASX and ASIC.
There has been new legal opinions and updated advice from ASX on what has to be detailed in ASX announcements
IMO this doesn't comply and previous ones that all should be retrospectively updated need to be attended to and shareholders fully informed.
Firstly this is called a research agreement and then it is a partnership. Both these words have a agreed definition in finance.
So what is it?. Either way they IMO have not provided enough information to holders to comply under new rules.
So the way I read it they have sent some raw product off to a processor and they hope the processor will be able to produce a end product or commercial ingredient to a end product. We know nothing about the exact end product market nor if they will be able to get to that product but are having to use a outside contractor to achieve that. They are calling it research? Partnership? If so what are the terms- profit split and if it is in any way research that AEB has a end stake in it they need to confirm if they have rights to any IP resulting from it ?
I see they are now "Plant-based health and wellbeing company Algae.Tec Limited" hmmmmm what sector of ASX are they again?
They are using all the old ones
"high-end nutraceuticals"
Are they - You know try and place their product at the peak of pricing before they even know so they can promote a possible expectation of pricing? Remember the - we'll produce 20 ton or whatever it was of algae starting tomorrow at Nowra and it is a billion dollars a gram announcements???
This whole announcement just sounds like toll processing and to start they are sending samples to see if a end product is possible - As always I am suspicious of timing of any announcements with little content and so little detail on actual production quantities or real world capability to be able to in any way assess a value ?? Anyone else got a clue?
A quick bit of research on the company involved and possible cost of processing and end product possibility and oops - not enough detail to make anything of it. .
So they bumped into Radient as a link from the Uruguayans cannabis people and their related Canada company investor ( dad) ?
Have radiant used technology before on Algae
IMO these guys are about to come unstuck with ASX and ASIC....
