Problem remains. Do they want to bury PASS underwater, OR develop a decline??
To develop a decline the pits are going to need to be dewatered, otherwise any proposed decline will be inundated with ground water.
So questions is accept PASS, or commence a decline, which requires the open pits to be dewatered. Cant have it both ways. Unfortunately for NAG, the ability to develop a decline under 100 metres of overlying water has not been overcome as yet.
