    Exactly. Sometimes the rumours are true sometimes they are not. Not a basis for decision making. Bit like posts on an I/N forum, there is no liability so not a reliable source of info ... DYOR etc.

    Company ASX Announcement are the opposite, based on strict criteria & ASX monitoring. So they are much more reliable & do form a reliable basis for Investment decisions.
