Red flag for potential investors because a company uses social media to communicate with the market? Quite the opposite in my opinion. I see it as a good sign that a company director or CEO is willing to put his reputation on the line by making such globally public comments. The message in the Tweet was a welcome to investors to contact the board to discuss any queries before making uninformed assumptions and posting inaccurate comments on other social media outlets, which in turn affects investors, potential or existing.
A tweet takes a couple of minutes to compose and send and doesn't detract from daily organisational duties. Good to see the open lines of modern communication IMO. A green flag in fact.
