It was an unnecessary low-blow from Shaun, when he implied that AZY management couldn't be trusted by Newcrest to manage Wilki JV. When in fact Newcrest's Exploration Manager at Diggers and Dealers a few months beforehand, spoke very highly of AZY management and described them as "excellent partners".


Greatland Gold have 30% of Havieron, but AZY has more gold on a 100% attributable basis. And AZY'S gold is more easily accessible, as it's nearer to surface and not going up to 2km deep. Even with Havieron's mining plan for it's first 10 years, AZY'S planning to be producing more annual gold production than GGP'S 30% share of Havieron.

This post isn't talking down on GGP, but I definitely see that Shaun and possibly some of it shareholders are quick to trash talk AZY management. But as we all can see, AZY'S $60 million JV with RIO is worth >800% more than GGP'S $7 million RIO JV. And also AZY'S $60 million JV with Newcrest is triple the value of GGP/Newcrest $20 million Juri JV.

Like I've said numerous times in the past, and present, watch out for Twiggy/FMG, a world-class chess player. He's waiting to pounce on any golden opportunities that will pop up in the Paterson, in due time.
