Appreciate that info @43110. I'm new to MLX but I agree its to big for MLX to do on its own, hence the Q.
That original NPV of 8% from the 2009 FS isn't grounding breaking is it (albeit we currently have higher metals price than the FS assumptions). It would seem in the short term there are better opportunities for an JV partner looking around, unless its someone with really deep pockets and a long term view. If the Nickel price rises further then that's a different story. I understand now why its "parked up". Still not a bad asset to have in the bottom drawer.
