I think the meeting between the mining authority and GGG was upbeat, very positive and constructive. All the remaining issues were clearly identified and appear to be manageable. It appears the the tailing storage is the remaining issue of concern and IMO if "dry storage" can be implemented it would solve many of the remainng concerns. It is my belief that all parties want this project to succeed. If "dry storage" is not realistic then i think the containment structure can be engineered to be effective. I think several months of additional work and then it will be the public hearing in spring of 2020.
