They don't need to disclose a data room being opened. That's the point of the investment banks leaking it. You sign an NDA, go in and take a look. It's the job of the IB to leak that companies are having look so any party who is serious comes and has a look.
This response more or less confirms incoming interest, but no formal arrnagement is set in stone. As most have speculated.
