That's true, but doesn't mean PMT is grossly overvalued. If it were such an easy target, why is the short interest so low?
PMT has close to the lowest short interest of any Lithium stock, yet the current narrative would have you believe it's the most over valued. Seems like the institutions don't agree.
I've listened extensively to Chanos, he is a great mind for sure. Very reasoned in his approach. I also agree with his analysis of how to respond. However, that's simply not possible in this circumstance. The main claim by the short report was that PMT was over valued based on the uncertainty around the impending MRE. PMT cannot refute the claim around the MRE until they actually do it.
In any case, it won't much matter because investors will only need to wait 2 weeks to have the main claim of the report either rubbished or proven correct.
