There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that it will fall to below the lows this time last year. Its the nature of the beast unfortunately. The drilling and permitting will run down the cash balance at a time where inground resource values will be falling to uneconomic levels. This wasnt a problem in 2022/2023, but as is evident in other listed companies, mines are being mothballed as its uneconomic to produce at present.
However, I understand this so Im prepared for the volatility that this brings. This period could last for years, but Im happy for PMT to continue because if you dont invest in the drill bit now it will just delay production and they'll miss the next cycle. Thats also why I prefer to be in explorers right now as producers will/are getting smashed.
