What 271 conditions would those be? I believe you are referring to the approval of the James Bay Mine Project owned now by Allkem. You do realize that these are project specific conditions and not some sort of rule. It is possible that PMT would have no conditions attached to its project approval or have some but it is very unlikely that they would have the same number as any other project. The conditions attached to approval will depend on the exact location of the project, its proximity to indigenous or other communities, the type of water, veg and animals in the location etc. Lastly the approval will be based on the applications received and the company responses and own practices. It may very well be that AKE did a poor job and thus approval came with many conditions etc. As you can see from the CDN Impact Assessment Agency site https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/exploration?showMap=false&search=lithium there are many many projects approved, under review etc. Canada has a strict regulatory framework for approval of mining and other industrial projects that impact the environment, but nonetheless less lots of projects get approved and the governments of Quebec and Canada have both committed to do more to improve the process. I am not worried about PMT getting approval to build a mine on the spectacular discovery they have made at Corvette, in a very remote part of Quebec and do so in a timely fashion.
