Yes there can be delays - BUT the monster deposit is not walking away just like the huge punt people took on AVZ's Congo project. This is in a Tier 1 jurisdiction - in the midst of a Western supply chain crisis.
The rarity of PMT's deposit is probably only discovered once or twice in a lifetime - twice by the looks of it (Corvette and Manono)
PMT will be valued on its rare deposit grade and size - it is a STRATEGIC asset, even just controlling it can enable the stakeholders to influence the Lithium markets and prices to a certain extent.
It does not need to get into production anytime soon - that's the whole point of a strategically large asset.
