I forgot to mention the possible follow up phone call by Amgen CEO to Amgen Chairman
Amgen CEO: Just got a call from Roger from PAB about suggesting licencing arrangement for PAT-SC1.....
Amgen Chairman: You didn't let on that we are looking at takeover of PAB?
Amgen CEO: No. Don't reckon he has a clue, reckon we can easily pick up PAB and PAT-SM6 and PAT-SC1 for under $100m as shareholders will be lining up to get out I reckon after last 12 months they have had. Gives us portfolio of cancer drug candidates that fits very nicely with our portfolio and at bargain basement price.
Amgen Chairman: Ok but keep it under raps, we need to keep the share price down so we don't pay over the odds.
