Prior to becoming a shareholder, was actively following events and upon consolidation to what is now PTX pleased to hold long term.
As previously outlined, two main models in play for this company, science and business respectively.
Currently, the science model is in stalemate on the ptx200 compound and sprouting on the ptx100 compound.
One main unanswered 'question ' recurring on company presentation is the market cap ( mc), often inferred as low on the science to value ratio..., to which I agree. This perplexing enigma is the reason this message.
Conventional practices for small mc speculative biotech companies, as this, focus on the academic and scientific avenues as a primary.
Is it time for a more dynamic approach. That is, maybe proactively testing the waters for one or more material gain sponsors? Agreed, if a deal was to come on the cards, sure management would consider it and yes we are all highly hopeful of this materialising possibly with the AML trails.
Although funded well with a low burn rate for years to come, one must acknowledge that new exciting trails are planned with the ptx100 as well.
Is it time for this small cap company to consider up scaling to a mid cap company rather than waiting for the large cap potential?
