very good announcement. Get going sooner and cheaper; just $5m. End21/start 22. 400,000t. Then use that cashflow to fund stage 2 for another $10m. Shipping smaller amount not so bad with the low IO price we have now. I expect IO price to be better into 2022 as all that $3Trillion of infrastructure starts to kick in worldwide.
C1 cost ok, but we have to add the quite high freight cost these days. Not sure what that is, but maybe other operations in our area would give us a lead as they all go to Port Headland.
smart to move the higher rate 1.5-2.0mtpa next year as we tamp up, to Onslow. Very much closer, so big cost saving there.
overall a very good plan by a management that I’ve had some question marks over.
now If the Chinese would just lob a nice fat bid for the Sth American property.
