The recent gold price lift has taken the Paulsens study number A$600 higher per ounce. That is highly material on funding. The stock should double very quickly on funding confirmation. It should really triple. one day at a time. They have a clear path to funding this year with Sundy.
Gold may take a breather at some point. The FED may be slower on rate cuts than the market thinks. The result is that gold is still rising during a higher bond yield anyway. Central banks and funds are buyers. The shorts must be getting worried. Gold has always been so incredibly cheap relative to rates and debt. This is just playing catch up imo. I am looking for US$2500 within 12 months if the rate cuts come. BC8 will explode in earnings with those prices. The margins will be fantastic. The recent gold price lift adds another $100m in cash flow just to Paulsens alone. That is the market cap. Bring Kal East on and this will be a lot of fun. The higher the gold price goes, the more the Chinese would be kicking heads to get this done. We have all been waiting for the gold price to kick in. The worker and contractor market at Kal has loosened right up with the nickel crash and the ending of some major projects in the area. I would love to see Kal come back on as the second project myself. BC8 has all the mills and it has serious mine life. Things seem to be improving at the moment. I will take gold at $3000 all day long,. let alone at $3500. dyor
