I feel your pain Matt. Nobody is manipulating this stock - the selling is pure disappointment about the management's performance. No matter how difficult or international the deal is, if the management says they have it done in a certain amount of time then they should have it done. But no company should have delays of multiples of their original schedule.
Also, another contradiction by many posters here is that on one hand they claim that the deal cannot fail, but at the same time they believe the SP to re-rate to 10-20c. If the deal is so certain to succeed then there won't be a massive re-rate.
There is no poor communication, but it's poor management. The whole company is just extremely unreliable; and that is reflected in it's share price.
