MarsC- you should understand that it takes all types for the world, and markets to function -have you or say Madam or klogg ever pondered how many opportunities there would be for you if everyone followed your strict criteria?

I admire your discipline (perhaps all 3 of u), but some of us find the world much more interesting by spreading our investments and diverting some money into other businesses; some may be asset plays moreso, or just opportunistic purchasing of poor businesses -and yes I have lots of disasters!!

As someone who rode a fair amount of these from 20c odd to 2.00 odd, they have fond memories for me -but all jokes aside, they do provide food for people, and normally at a very reasonable price for nearly a staple in most diets, surely a fairly worthwhile occupation, and not one to be sneered at!!

Interesting with the salmonella outbreak -it is apparent that free range and barn laid may be more prone to getting this disease from wild birds - I dont profess to be an expert on the matter, and have never really been a big fan of caged egg production, or for that matter feedlotting. Saw an intensive dairy in Europe that is like a factory -dont like much at all!!
anyway, i digress, but i hope i have given you some "food for thought".
