Yeah, that's not going to happen. GOM has most likely demanded new terms that will require upfront payment before any construction begins, or similar arrangement. They won't cancel the contract with SAS; SAS and GOM are joined at the hip regarding success. But they do have the responsibility to run a tight ship and as close as SAS and GOM are, GOM must protect its shareholders from financial exposure.
But it is clear that GOM need SAS to be successful. Without SAS then GOM are little more than a toy making company. With SAS then GOM will be the number one small sat manufacturer on the planet. I'm sure it pains the insiders in GOM and SAS that they will be adding this formality to their relationship far more than it will pain us retail investors.
