Capital raising shouldn't worry investors too much, the company needs money to finish the smelters. I'm assuming no update regarding tranche 2 has something to do with the capital raising comment.
It was always going to be around 6 billion shares on issue, for GMC to finish the smelters.
ie if the Coal King had kept his investment in for $14m ($10m plus option exercise) at 1.5bn shares and options, we'd be right around 6 billion shares on issue.
