A few thoughts.

I was actually interested to see how rff would stand up in a GFC type event because it’s income is extremely stable. I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was treated like a safe haven stock, but that’s just my speculation.

Secondly, I couldn’t care if they grow cattle, almonds and grapes on a salt plain, as long as the rent keeps coming in.

Thirdly, are these pricks going to get away with a slanderous report because they use statements like ‘we believe’ instead of saying it’s a fact?

I fail to see any positive benefit and therefore reason why short selling is legal. From memory it got banned for a time during the gfc. Shouldn’t that tell us something about it’s destructive capacity and therefore something we don’t want in our society at any time, good or bad?
