If they were so confident they were right why wait until the worst trading week of the year just 8 days before the new accounts were released?
If they are correct & the company was worthless it wouldn't matter when they starred shorting.
In 8 days time they would have even more ammunition to support their case.
If this wasn't just opportunistic it seems rather strange timing.
