According to Education minister, even those working from home will be able to access free childcare. Even those who have lost their jobs but had an existing arrangement can get free childcare.
If you already have a job and now wish to access childcare, you can as long as there is availability at the childcare centre.
For those who have relied on grandparents to take care of their children this would be huge. They are the high risk group.
Jobkeeper will also basically pay for employees if your turnover is 1 billion or less and you have 30% reduction. If over 1 billion, then 50% reduction to qualify.
This makes the smaller childcare groups a better buy. IMO
GEM revenue is under a billion fortunately.
