The govt will pay 50% of the subsidy directly to the childcare based on the attendance figure a fortnight before 2 March.
So basically, if you had a 100 kids and then later after the lockdown you only had 50 kids, they still get their 100 kids subsidy while only having 50 kids. With wages usually about 60% of costs this is huge because Jobkeeper will allow businesses to keep their workers.
