Like you I am heavily involved in the early education sector.
Centres I have spoken to this morning are experiencing a surge in parents seeking additional days for their children.
Whilst welcome, some of these Centre's are well aware that the only way to survive this current situation, is to accept the bookings whilst encouraging parents to keep their children at home. This allows income and enables them to operate on the floor ratio's.
The $750 is not applicable to all staff and the rates below show what the minimum out of pocket costs may be.
Centre staff and management will have to reduce their costs through salary reductions, rent negotiations and basically cutting operations to the bone, whilst still providing quality education and care, to make sure that they come out of this ready to rebuild.
