Is the ASX actually responsible for the validity of companies announcements? Seems crazy they can halt a company trading if they want to ask questions about non-trading activities.
If a mining company says there “could” be significant minerals in their tenement, I have never seen the ASX halt this because there is no facts to back it up until drilling is done.
If it’s to do with insider trading, non ongoing disclosure, related party transactions fine... but halting for this reason is just strange.
