It's very unusual for BIT to call a trading halt, and this is their first pause in trading.
Considering the sensitive nature of their research this year - news has been restricted for non-disclosure reasons, and the recent appointment of the CMO to advance their HIV tests to commercialisation, I would guess this is an announcement of huge importance.
BIT is well funded with a decent cash balance and will be in receipt of further Government grants, so this is not a trading halt for a CR.
