On pure price movement, the uptick as an indicator for good news, is not reliable - me finks. Above is the chart of Wattle before they went into a trading halt (and stayed there until now). Obviously, the guys who bought 6 mio shares the day before the trading halt had NO idea. Maybe, the guys who sold had ().
I do not think for one second think that CCL is in any way comparable. I think that Ms Watkins is one of the best CEOs in the market and CCL is a very difficult company to manage given the situation in the sugary drinks perception and public pressure and importation of canned or processed fruits. I have held the stock for a long time.
