Not true. We can't be silent about our promotion of the democratic values that Australia holds dear, and which mainland China, as a Marxist state, opposes.
Look at what it's done in Hong Kong and Tibet for a start.
I am very happy that ScoMo and his Ministers and backbenchers in the Federal Liberal/National Coalition do not stay silent. Mainland China (and other nations) need to know that Australia won't appease a despotic regime that constantly crushes liberties and human rights.
