the trade minister was on TV this morning and interestingly the government doesn't seem to be backing down and will look to appeal the decision. failing this they will go to the WTO as they said they now believe each trade sanction which they originally took on face value as genuine individual trade issues is now clearly a blanket trade retaliation to Australia's sovereign actions (which we won't apologise for).
it seems Australia will dig in and make a stand. Could cause us great harm or it could be a master stroke because every now and then you need to stand up to a bully to remind them the little guys won't always bend over and just cop it.
will be interesting to see how it plays out
