The list of Chinese grievances with Australia was released by the Chinese Embassy in Canberra this week. A couple not included are a bit vague but this is most of them
*Banning Huawei from participating in the 5G rollout
* Sticking up for Hong Kong and Taiwan freedoms
* Requesting an enquiry into Covid 19
* Australian Government funding of bodies like the Australian Strategic Policy Institute
* Australian Government statement to UN regarding China’s activities in South China Sea
* Daring to imply China being responsible for repeated cyber attacks
* Blocking 10 significant takeovers of national infrastructure, agriculture and animal husbandry
* Revoking visas of Chinese scholars
* Raids on Chinese journalists
* Members of Parliament attacking the Chinese Communist Party
* Media editorials attacking the Chinese Communist Party
Which part of our sovereignty would some of you like to give up first ?
Do we let them spy on us via the 5G, do we ignore the plight of HK and Taiwan citizens and the Xinjiang muslims, all the while letting them off for killing millions via the virus they allowed to travel.
Do we let them tell our government who it can fund for research and just let them seize the South China sea and build more artificial islands whilst they pillage the fishing grounds of our neighbours and conduct cyber attacks upon us.
Do we let them purchase company or infrastructure or land they wish from us?
Do we relinquish our control over who enters the country under the guise of a scholar or journalist.
Shall we muzzle our MPs elected by us and should we also muzzle the independence and freedom of our media.
Which freedoms should we relinquish so our f**king share price rises ?
