That's not SMH, that's Viceroy throwing mud to get the stock price down.
Techs aren't going to merchants, terminals are being couriered/posted back for repair.
Appreciate it's a 3rd party device issue, and Tyro could have been better in their communication, but their response & expected fix time ("majority by the end of this week") is reasonable.
I'd expect the announcement from Tyro will call out the false statements from the Viceroy report, and provide a status update - if the status is good, then we'll bounce.
