Hilly is correct, the asx determines which company announcements are price sensitive or not. The company merely sends through their announcements to the asx and they mark it either price sensitive or not when they release it to the market. If you are around for awhile and follow a number of different companies you will see the asx make some absolute clangers by not marking announcements price sensitive when the information released in the announcement is absolutely price sensitive.
