PIQ presenting an E-poster with an oral presentation. I have got access to the conference & just listened. The cost savings were good US$384 billion over 10 years & as announced based on costing of $100-200 per test in comparison to current standard of care.
Also the savings increased over time (per patient) which makes sense. Break even at year 3.
Prognostic (before DKD occurs eGFR normal >60mmol/L) up to 4 years prior AND predictive of decline in patients with existing renal disease eGFR <60mmol/L.
It’s poster / abstract number 813P. I’m going to listen to some presentations this morning relevant to DKD/CKD & SGLT2i.
